What are the different fire safety sign categories?
Fire safety signage are broken down into different categories and colours. These colours refer to whether it is a mandatory sign or if it indicates the location of fire safety equipment
Blue Signs
A circular fire safety sign that is blue is mandatory and must be obeyed. An example of where you will find one of these is on a fire door stating it must be kept shut.
Green Signs
These signs detail the direction or location of certain safety equipment. For example a fire exit.
Yellow Signs
These signs are warning you of a potential risk. For example, warning you of flammable materials.
Red Signs
These are prohibition signs that forbid certain actions as they can be dangerous.
